a note about our camps and programs
The Mount Seymour Ski Club can only accept children who have intermediate or grater skiing ability. This means that your child must be able to stop on command and be able to ski basic parallel (not snow plow) on green and blue terrain. Children must also be able to ride the ski lifts unassisted (they will be supervised on and around the lifts).
Please visit the Mount Seymour Snow School for information about beginner lessons. Their web page can be found here: Snow School.
Once your child has developed their beginner skiing skills they are welcome to come check the club out. We will be on the hill every weekend and some week nights. Come by and say hello!
All camp participants are required to wear a FIS approved ski race helmet while on the hill. Unlike "snowboard" or "freestyle" helmets, race helmets have hard ears. If you do not have an acceptable helmet, Mount Seymour Resorts rents children's helmets. If renting ensure that they supply you will a ski race helmet.
